Hey! I am Lex/snoozingrat, a queer disabled gamer, and I make games under the name Snoozing Rat Games using Godot 4.
My main project is Megastructure (working title), where you guide a team of three scrappers down into the titular Megastructure for salvage and intel that might help your station survive just a little longer. Details and dev logs are on the project page if you want to know more.
I am also prototyping a 2D metroidvania (search-action?) game that involves an animate chunk of obsidian and an ancient mycelial network joining forces to stop their supervolcano from erupting. It heavily uses a hookshot-style mechanic (and now that Silksong is out, I've been taking notes on how to improve mine).
I've had a lot of fun working on the pixel art for this one, particularly. Tileset and environment design is really engaging.
I released DO THE THING: A Game About Executive Dysfunction. The game is very short (~5 or 6 minutes), and is very free.
